They each also pick two games that they feel may be under the radar but that you must play. Tune in to hear what those games are, as well as their comments on a handful of other games.

Turks and Michael are in the midst of all that is E3, and although they didn’t get to see Huxley (vaporware?), they did share the scoop on the tons of games they did get their hands on. There are a few hot titles coming out for PC, but the trend for this Christmas appears to be the Xbox 360, PS3 and PSP (?). Gamersfirst.com showcased some interesting download only free-to-play titles, and while they will incorporate micro transactions, the playing field is supposed to remain level for those who don’t wish to fork over real dollars. Episode 2 of our E3 podcast is packed with first hand info, so listen in NOW, and be one of the first to gain the knowledge!

While enlightening us about the existence of 15-button mice, Kim also explained how a lot of gaming hardware comes about. In addition to the interview, this week’s discussion includes infamous and how it compares to Crackdown, and peripherals. Which podcaster beat Mass Effect? Has Chris even played it yet? Did anyone play Halo this week? (Okay no brainer there) For answers to these and other Avault mysteries tune in to this week’s podcast.

As always, the guys explore what they’ve been playing this week, including Ultimate Fighting Championship, Halo (they really need a 12-step program for this), Mass Effect, and Blue Dragon Plus.
This week’s guest is Yvonna Lynn from Charisma +2 (THE video gaming booth babe business and monthly online magazine). And yes, there are booth dudes, too. If you were wondering what kind of game the #1 Booth Babe plays, it would be “anything except an RTS”.

Publisher: Bethesda Softworks
Developer: Bethesda Game Studios
Genre: Action RPG
Release date: Available now
When the retail version of Fallout 3 released back in October 2008, it was met with mixed reviews. Many looked at it as a great achievement in gaming, with its expansive world and unique VATS combat system. Then there were those who just couldn’t get into the game because of its open-world structure and menu complexity. There were even those who couldn’t believe that Bethesda had actually put an ending in their game. Well, fear not: Bethesda has listened to your cries with the DLC package Broken Steel, opening up the Capitol Wasteland to you once again beyond the previous ending. Oh, and they also threw in some new quests, gear and perks.

This week the guys explore Bioshock, and XMen Origins: Wolverine. While sharing war stories about Bioshock, an interesting question was raised. Is Chris a liar or is his ISP conspiring against him, and will he post the pic of where he really is in the game, or will he slink off to South America to do the dance of shame? This week’s guest is Marcus Graham from EG who joins in the conversation with some dirt on his former life as an old school gamer which gave him the skills to go on to a life as a professional game announcer. After the interview, be sure to listen all the way to the end for a technically enhanced rant/promo from our founder.

Publisher: Midway Games
Developer: Midway Games
Genre: Football
Release Date: Available now
Review by: Mark Turcotte
In a world with only one officially licensed NFL game, our choices are rather slim when it comes to football. With Blitz: The League II, Midway once again brings us their version of the hard-hitting sport, abandoning realism in favor of over-the-top action. This arcade alternative to EA’s Madden series tries to be an NFL simulator, but is this crazy brand of football worth huddling up to play?
