The Sly Collection is heading to the PSN

Picture from The Sly Collection is heading to the PSN The Sly Collection, currently available on a Blu-Ray Disc for the PS3, is getting added to the PSN next week. The collection can be downloaded in its entirety for $29.99, and the games within can be purchased separately for $9.99 each. The Sly Collection includes Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, and Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves. The games all feature Trophy support and can be played in stereoscopic 3D.

Ubisoft’s I Am Alive will not be getting a PC release alongside its console versions. The reason, according to I Am Alive‘s creative director Stanislas Mettra, is PC piracy. On the topic of PC piracy, Stanislas Mettra stated: “It’s hard because there’s so much piracy and so few people are paying for PC games that we have to precisely weigh it up against the cost of making it.”

A new mech, shown in the image to the left, is the latest piece of information to hit the web. The DRG 1-N Dragon features two medium lasers, a medium-caliber Autocannon, and a Long-Range Missile Launcher.

Nathan Drake, the man with the strongest fingertips in gaming, returns to close out his debut trilogy in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Developer Naughty Dog has thrown in everything save the kitchen sink: foot chases, car chases, scenes on horseback, puzzle solving, fast-paced combat sequences and lots of personal moments, all framed with gorgeous graphics and another evocative music score. It does more interesting things in 10 to 15 hours than half a dozen lesser games combined, yet somehow it also manages to be somewhat less fulfilling than its predecessor.

Jillian Michaels’ Fitness Adventure features over fifty levels of running, jumping, and gem collecting action. The game includes a fitness calendar to track your progress and allows the player to compare their skills using an online leader board.

The beta will begin small, and as it progresses, more people and features will be added to the trial. Anyone who purchased Uncharted 3 has a voucher with a beta key and can gain early access this Tuesday.

A simple YouTube search will bring up dozens of videos of various glitches, both humorous and game-breaking. Pete Hines, Bethesda’s Community Manager, promises on his Twitter that bug fixes are on the way, stating, “Takes a while to test/fix/regress. Hang in there.”

The latest entry in the Elder Scrolls series has had a spectacular debut. Skyrim, which went on sale only a few days ago, has already sold over 3 million retail units. 59% of players purchased the game for the Xbox 360, 27% for the PS3, and only 14% on PC (these numbers to not include digital downloads).
