I Am Alive not getting PC release |

Ubisoft’s I Am Alive will not be getting a PC release alongside its console versions. The reason, according to I Am Alive‘s creative director Stanislas Mettra, is PC piracy. On the topic of PC piracy, Stanislas Mettra stated: “It’s hard because there’s so much piracy and so few people are paying for PC games that we have to precisely weigh it up against the cost of making it.”

As we get closer to Piranha Games’ 2012 release of MechWarrior Online, more and more details are being released. A new mech, shown in the image to the left, is the latest piece of information to hit the web. The DRG 1-N Dragon features two medium lasers, a medium-caliber Autocannon, and a Long-Range Missile Launcher.

Nathan Drake, the man with the strongest fingertips in gaming, returns to close out his debut trilogy in Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Developer Naughty Dog has thrown in everything save the kitchen sink: foot chases, car chases, scenes on horseback, puzzle solving, fast-paced combat sequences and lots of personal moments, all framed with gorgeous graphics and another evocative music score. It does more interesting things in 10 to 15 hours than half a dozen lesser games combined, yet somehow it also manages to be somewhat less fulfilling than its predecessor.

On the heels last week’s closed beta launch for War of the Immortals, Perfect World’s new action MMORPG, they’ve unveiled this Class Overview trailer. Click play to get a sneak peek at what each of the eight classes offers in terms of gameplay and gear.
To become the greatest warrior in the world of Motenia, you must utilize your strengths and capitalize on your opponent’s weaknesses. In the game, everyone’s favorite plumber is depicted as a bloody, fur-wearing murderer floating away from a freshly-skinned tanuki. Players control the tiny, hairless animal as he chases Mario down to get his fur back.

A lot of people bought Skyrim |

The latest entry in the Elder Scrolls series has had a spectacular debut. Skyrim, which went on sale only a few days ago, has already sold over 3 million retail units. 59% of players purchased the game for the Xbox 360, 27% for the PS3, and only 14% on PC (these numbers to not include digital downloads).
