Modern Warfare 3 expected to break all records |

It’s only been on the streets for a few hours, and some of you haven’t set that controller since midnight, so it’s kind of a no brainer that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 will do well, but $750 million? That’s the estimated figure being reported by CNN this morning.
Last year when Black Ops broke all records for a media launch, there was relatively little competition, as many big names delayed themselves to avoid a confrontation, but this year that hasn’t happened. According to Metro, industry analysts predict that despite this, Modern Warfare 3 will still surpass its predecessor by selling up to 6 million copies in the first 24 hours. Early figures estimate a 10% increase in sales over Black Ops for 18 million units sold before the end of the year.
We won’t have official numbers until next week, but Amazon has already declared it their “best-selling pre-order ever!”
