Tank Universal
Developer and Publisher/Distributor: Dialog Design
Tank Universal is a TRON-like 3D tank combat game. Within a huge virtual world, you take part in immense 3D tank battles. Viewed from a first person perspective, you can choose to bombard your multiple foes from a distance or at close range. You follow an interesting plot as you tackle 20 levels of intense tank battles, with some missions requiring you to leave the safety of your tank and explore the world on foot. Frequently you need to retrieve keys and overcome enemy turrets. The wide open levels allow great freedom in going where you want when you want rather than following predetermined paths – exploring creatively designed environments — and the virtual world presented is both coherent and immersive. You are also not confined to a single mode of attack, as you can upgrade both weapons and tank equipment. Allies often join with you against enemies that on occasion display surprising intelligence. The visuals are impressive, making you feel as if you are within a sophisticated sci-fi wireframe world. The music and sound effects add to the unworldly feel of the gameplay.
Obulis
Developer and Publisher/Distributor: IonFX Studios
Obulis is a unique addictive physics-based target game. The goal of each level is to drop all of the colored spheres into their like-colored pots. You accomplish this by cleverly cutting ropes and chains suspending the spheres in the air while calculating height, position, speed of swinging, and timing in order to determine where they will land after release. Replicating accurately real-world physics, spheres respond to gravity, collide with each other, and interact with the environment. Often obstacles abound, such as moving platforms, holes, and lifts. You have at your disposal over 150 levels, with over a dozen themes including Egyptian tombs, the inside of a clock tower, and Japanese gardens. Hints are available through a “show solution” option, and you may replay levels to experiment with alternative strategies. Obulis fuses highly compelling gameplay with great graphics (including widescreen capabilities), music, and state-of-the-art physics effects. Careful planning and precise execution lead to success and a sense of total visceral satisfaction.
Larva Mortus
Developer and Publisher/Distributor: Rake in Grass
Larva Mortus is an ominous overhead maze action-combat game. In response to proliferating ancient dark forces, you play an agent fighting loathsome supernatural monsters and horrific unholy spawns of black magic. You face randomly generated missions, allowing the game to differ each time you play, and visit numerous scary settings, including spooky manors, catacombs, and dark forests. Using the keyboard to move and the mouse to aim and shoot, you encounter 30 frightful monsters, including vampires, the undead, and werewolves. You possess a sizable arsenal of powerful weapons including a cannon, crossbow, dynamite, flame thrower, machine gun, pistol, shotgun, sword, crossbow, and dynamo gun. Enemies may drop various power-ups which grant temporary bonuses in ammunition, armor, damage, score, or movement speed. The cut scenes are both stylish and effective, and you may disable the gore if you wish. The foreboding orchestral musical score perfectly complements the action. The challenge level is fair, although you have to destroy all foes before moving to the next room.

Elements is a fantastic game. I bought it at full price, and have not regretted it for a second. It’s the only game to get close to “Bejeweled” levels of addiction for me. I highly recommend it to everyone.
