When was the last time you plunked a quarter into an Asteroids machine? Do you remember what it sounded like as it worked its way through the innards of the machine? Now imagine what 400 Microsoft points sound like as you… Oh, never mind. You can’t relive the glory days of the arcades, but that doesn’t stop game makers from trying. We like the idea of blasting re-mastered HD asteroids, though, and are looking forward to checking out the whiplash-inducing Throttle Monkey mode. The classic space shooting action of Asteroids and Asteroids Deluxe will debut Wednesday at 2 a.m. PST on Xbox Live Arcade. Go here for more.
