Picture from Ace Combat Assault Horizon targeted for October

Ace Combat Assault Horizon will arrive in North America for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 October 11, followed shortly by its European debut October 14. Namco intends for the game to invigorate the franchise as it focuses on action with in-air acrobatics, counter-maneuvers and new destructive effects that show buildings shattering and aircraft getting shredded. Featuring a story written by New York Times’ bestselling military author, Jim DeFelice, the title puts players in the shoes of a top gun pilot in an international task force. The war drama will span such real-world locations as Dubai and Russia, and incorporate super-sonic jets and attack helicopters (door gunner included).

Cool! Here’s hoping it’ll use the Ace Edge HOTAS for the 360.
