Picture from Activision closes Shaba Games

San Francisco-based Shaba Games, developer of Spider-man: Web of Shadows, has closed its doors. Sources estimate that some 30 employees were laid off earlier today, and the current theory blames it on the less than stellar sales of Activision’s Guitar Hero 5. Shaba was also responsible for ports of the Tony Hawk series and Shrek Super Slam. Activision is alleged to have also made similar-sized cuts at recently purchased 7 Studios.
