It’s been a long arduous journey, but the Wizard of Avault, aka “the Packrat of Brazil”, aka Mr. Web Architect extraordinaire, Saulo Benigno has done it again! After many hours of diligent attention to detail and data entry, over 1,600 of our old PC reviews are back!
Wanna see what games were really like back in 1997? Curious as to what Pete Hines or Emil Pagliarulo sounded like back in the day? Or are you just aching to relive a bit of gaming nostalgia? Browse through our review section and check out what we had to say about the games of yesteryear.

Didn’t Emil leave Adrenaline Vault back-in-the-day to work for Looking Glass? And isn’t he working for Bethesda now? I think he was Lead Designer for Fallout 3. For some reason I’m remembering that Pete Hines is working at Bethesda now, too.
How many other members of your staff have moved on to the games industry? Whatever happened to Brian Clair? David Laprad? Is Bob Mandel still around? I seem to remember seeing his name here recently.
Wow, I’m getting all misty-eyed. Thanks for the jolt of nostalgia! Maybe I can work through it playing Outcast, FreeSpace 2 or System Shock 2.
Yes, Pete Hines and Emil Pagliarulo are both currently with Bethesda, and they visited the podcast to talk about Fallout 3 a few months ago – really good show and worth a listen. Brian Clair was before my time, but I’m sure someone else knows where he moved off to. David Laprad is still here part time – be looking for a Wii review from him soon, and Bob Mandel never left the building (he’s still our Sr. Staff writer and currently working on some great features and reviews for your PC gaming pleasure).
Brian Clair left to work at Stardock Entertainment almost 5 years ago. Many of our original writers and staff now work for developers and publishers.
Good job, Saulo!
Thank you guys
Excellent news!
