Microsoft has announced a number of new features for Xbox 360 avatars, including in-game item rewards, animated props and a new Avatar Marketplace. Marketed as ‘Avatar Awardables’, new clothing, items and animations will be given to gamers as rewards for completing set objectives in certain games. I am not exactly sure what costumes will be available but I am rather hoping that my long standing desire to dress my own Avatar in a suit of medieval armor, a tutu and an Indian headdress might be realized.
