A bit early for April Fool’s ain’t it? Oh wait, this is Sony we’re talking about.
Goes hand-in-hand with the remake of the movie. There is no shock value here, I’m afraid.
Oh God, I hadn’t heard. Another stellar Sam Worthington performance in the making, no doubt.
Colin Farrell, actually.
Oh, well..that’s not so terrible. Casting an atypical “tough guy” in that role never made sense to me. The only thing that gets me is, why are they remaking movies that were actually pretty good for their time, esp. when that time wasn’t all that long ago? Even the kids have seen Total Recall on cable. Unless they signifigantly change the story it just seems like a waste. Why not remake a movie that had a cool basic premise but otherwise sucked? Or at least stop making terrible remakes of decent films.
