Picture from Black Friday deals

With Black Friday less than a week away, it’s time to start scrounging up every last dollar you can find. Judging by the ads from some of the major retailers, there will be plenty of deals to be had. Just don’t slip into that turkey-induced coma for too long, otherwise you’re sure to miss out.

Some of the highlights for this year’s shopping bonanza include: GameStop’s oft-featured “Buy 2 Get 1 Free” deal on all pre-owned games and accessories, as well as some bundle deals on the Xbox 360 (system w/ Pure, Lego Batman and your choice of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare or Spider-Man: Web of Shadows) and Playstation 3 (system w/ LittleBigPlanet: GOTY edition and the God of War Collection).

Best Buy has deals on several newer games. FIFA Soccer 10, Brutal Legend, and NHL 10 will be on sale for $34.99 for both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. Left 4 Dead 2 will also be 34.99 for the Xbox 360.

Wal-Mart, however, will be the spot to nab some really cheap games, with over 30 titles priced at $25, and nearly a hundred games going for $7-10. They also have a Nintendo Wii value bundle (available online only) for $249. The bundle includes the console, remote, nunchuck, two games and a set of Nyko controllers.

Hey Alaric,

Yeah, a few things. Best Buy will have some older PC games for $4.99, including Far Cry 2, Assassin’s Creed, BioShock and World of Warcraft. GameStop will have Left 4 Dead 2 for $29.99 and Walmart will have Sims 3 for $25!
