Picture from Blacklight: Tango Down releasing shortly

According to Game Spy, Xbox Live has dated Zombie Studios’ upcoming digital multiplayer shooter, Blacklight: Tango Down, as an Arcade download available starting tomorrow (July 7). This has generated much excitement in the FPS Xbox shooter community. For a $15 downloadable title you usually won’t get such a detailed, lovely looking game with such rich leveling and customization systems.

In the 16-player shooter, players will be able to choose from six core weapon systems and then change out 25 different attributes that aren’t just cosmetic but will impact how your weapon fires. The story revolves around a search and find mission in the near future, where the Blacklight Tango Team has been sent to find the recently missing Colonel Klein and his personal Blacklight team in the city of Balik. The country has recently broken out in war after the assassination of the president. The rebel group that had killed the president The Order, is thought to have captured or killed the missing Blacklight team.
