Picture from Borderlands: Secret Armory of General Knoxx announced

Gearbox has officially announced their third DLC for Borderlands, Secret Armory of General Knoxx. Details are scant at this time, as they’ve not revealed a release date (other than later this year) or price, but they have confirmed that the level cap is going up (though not by how much).

According to the folks over at Gearbox, the expansion includes a “huge new environment“, and features both new enemies and guns. Secret Armory of General Knoxx is also targeted at characters between levels 34 and 50, so if you’re still lagging behind and haven’t hit the ceiling, yet, you may want to rectify that before release day.
