If you come across a Facebook post about a video link for the Casey Anthony confession, don’t click! PC World reports that there are new Facebook scams surrounding the Anthony Case.
One of the reported malware infecting links reads: “BREAKING NEWS – Leaked Video of Casey Anthony CONFESSING to Lawyer!” When clicked, an age verification box appears, that asks you to click “Jaa” (share) twice to confirm. Clicking twice grants permission for the malware to be shared across your Facebook network.

Unfortunately, there are still tons of similar Facebook scams out there…What I find interesting is that Apple just released an iPhone app a few days ago, called Scam Detector, which exposes in detail over 350 of the most notorious scams in the world. Lots of them are social networking scams (Facebook, twitter, etc). It is worth checking it out, if you have an iPhone. Some info here: http://reviews.cnet.com/8301-19512_7-20071984-233/scam-detector-app-saves-you-from-getting-ripped-off/ . It’s kinda cool, actually.
