Codemasters has shipped DiRT, an off-road racing game for the Xbox 360 and the PC, to retail stores in North America. The PS3 edition will follow soon. DiRT features off-road racing on gravel, mud and dirt venues across the globe. The game includes an extensive range of off-road and circuit events in heavyweight 850bhp cars in the Hill Climb events, including the Pikes Peak International through the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Multiple car races with Dakar-style trucks and 4x4s on desert terrain in Rally Raid competitions, and Crossover circuits and events from the Championship Off-Road Racing series in the U.S. are on hand as well. DiRT also offers a rally championship section and the opportunity to race against others and the clock via a 100-person online multiplayer mode. The Xbox 360 playable demo is available now from Xbox LIVE Marketplace. The PC demo, along with videos and product information, can be found at www.codemasters.com.
