Picture from Cyanide hoping to avoid poisoning AGOT development

Written by: Simon Moore

Cyanide continues to work on the A Game of Thrones RPG. The plot centers around Night’s Watch brother Mors and formerly exiled Red Priest Alester. These original characters are set to cross with everyone from Queen Cersei to Varys to Night’s Watch Lord Commander Mormont. Apparently, the game’s “grand quest” will see you visit King’s Landing, The Wall, and many other well-known regions in Westeros. The official develop statements reads “In A Game of Thrones, you will choose the class of your characters, find your fighting style, reach a good balance between your strengths and weaknesses, and get ready for epic battles!” Check out some new screen shots below.

Hrmn.. This smells more like a Money grab than an acutal RPG on any level. As soon as they say the word action oriented , and multiport, I get the sense of a completely linear run at copying Dragonage and pasting in GOT elements.

Of course I think The Books are pure Genius, I loved the live action series so i could be wrong … At the very least it should be miles ahead of Dragonage 2 .. Ahh yes so bitter, It wasnt so much a game as it was a publishing company vomiting into a computer.
