Picture from Dark Elves mixed into the bowl

After reaching the top of the sales charts in the UK, Blood Bowl is now coming to North America. Blood Bowl, the imaginary forerunner of football, is an ultra violent team sport set in the Warhammer fantasy universe. It lets players create a team of Orcs, Elves, Humans, Dwarves and many other fantasy creatures before jumping into the bloodiest arenas. The sport is both strategic and violent, and requires tactics, a certain amount of game-sense and a lot of self-confidence. Cyanide Studios has also released a new update for the sports strategy title, which adds on a ninth faction to the existing game: the dreaded Dark Elves. The download is pretty hefty at 129 MB, and it can be picked up from The Patches Scrolls. So strap on your studded gloves and shin pads and take to the turf! Pack your orange for half time and a bandage or two.

129MB hefty? Maybe in 1987 when the original board game was released but these days that’s tiny! So, either “129″ was a typo, or you need to upgrade your internet plan.

I believe Simon was referring to the size of the upgrade, not the game.

I was indeed referring to the download add on !
