Hans Zimmer, the composer behind the scores for The Dark Knight, Gladiator and Rain Man, will be writing music for Infinity Ward’s upcoming blockbuster game, Modern Warfare 2. This is Zimmer’s first foray into writing music for videogames, and he joins the company of other Hollywood composers such as Harry Gregson-Williams (Metal Gear Solid and the first Modern Warfare) with videogame scoring work on their resume.
