Even though the actual game is not due to drop for another four days, 2K Games has already announced that the first piece of downloadable content for Borderlands, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, is planned for release later this year for all available platforms for $9.99 or 800 Microsoft Points. The expansion is currently in development at Gearbox, and is the first in a series. Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region. Players will have to work alongside Dr. Ned as they embark on a quest to cure the inhabitants.

Ya’ll know what this means. It means there is no point in buying the game until they release the version a year from now that includes all the DLCs. Like Oblivion game of the year edition.
The description of the game sounds good, but after looking at some of the screenshots, the graphics are very bad. Everything looks flat and cartoonish, but it seems like they did it on purpose.
I think I might pass on Borderlands, unless it gets some great reviews and has great gameplay to make up for the poor graphics.
I haven’t even watched the intro video or killed a single borderlands bad guy, and I’m already told there’s more to come? It’s too soon for me, let me play, get bored with it, and then offer up new DLC. Not everyone is going to beat the game in a month, give it time to breathe.
Just because it’s paintbrush graphics doesn’t mean it’s bad. it’s just different and unique, plus the game play is amazing!
@ NyteByte its cell shaded graphics, they are pretty decent graphics… And for Bill, just announcing DLC doesnt mean itll come out the next day, if they announce the DLC early, that means the players will know (even if they’ve played or not) that they can look forward to more content.
