Just when you thought there weren’t enough parent/child issues floating around in the Dragon Age: Origins universe, they introduce “The Children” in their new trailer. No, it’s not a certain someone’s demon baby or the latest product of the Brood Mother (or is it?). The Children appear to be slugs with demonically mutated children’s faces, and they’re coming to a platform near you next month with the launch of Awakening. The video provides little explanation of their origins, but includes some pretty disgusting looking critters as they hatch and attempt to feast on our Hero’s party for their first meal.
