SplitFish has declared November 10 to be the ship date for the Dual SFX Frag Pro Controller Wireless. Optimized for first-person shooters, it will arrive in stores in time for the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 release. The Dual SFX Frag Pro functions as a full featured wireless PS3 and PC gaming controller with programmable button configurations and adjustable mouse aiming that also adds a dual wireless rechargeable system to the intuitive controller and a new “Frag Control Center” utility to adjust button configurations and sensitivity and save individual game configurations.

Ooooo! If this does indeed work with the PC, I will be in heaven!!
Now, they should release a 360 version!
This looks awful. This has yet to beat the 30+ buttons/combinations I can reach with my normal keyboard and HotKeyboard software.
looks like a piece of crap, you can’t top the 360 dual analog controller. Besides, you it’s gonna have a PS3 sloppy style analog stick, not the crisp control of 360 controller.
@ Sabre: do you really NEED 30+ buttons to control a FPS!?!?!? That said, I currently use a Belkin n52 & mouse to play WoW & all my other games. If I need more keys (or to chat), guess what? My keyboard is right in front of me.
@ Bill: actually, yes you can top the 360 dual analog controller: its called a keyboard and mouse. Try it out some time… or wait, you play on a girlie console, so I guess you cant. LOLz
Hahahahah. Nice one.
I tried to play FPS games with a Xbox 360 controller, no luck for me
So, keyboard and mouse ftw
keyboard and mouse, come on, do you eat soup with a fork?
When did this site become YouTube? The commentary for this article is frankly appalling. The genuinely interesting stories are met with lurkage, and yet an article like this seems to bring all the fanboys out of the woodwork? Is that about right?
@Gareth – you never quite know what’s going to spark commentary around here, and while I wouldn’t exactly put us in the same category as YouTube, the global trend has been toward short emotionally based outburts. If you’d like to see that change, the next time we post something you consider interesting, spark a discussion. I think you’ll find that most of our “fanboys” are also capable of partaking in intellectual discussion.
p.s. just having some fun!
@Gareth – I am also sometimes amazed what articles spark commentary at Avault. But this story is not a good example as it somewhat touches the reactive nerve of “PC vs Console.” Those stories are always controversial, as are “PC vs Mac” and any other subject where people polarize their opinions and react emotionally to the opposite view.
@ Bill: auto aim is a great thing ont he baby consoles, isnt it?
It’s always good when there’s a lot of emails
I like it.
ps: having a lot of fun, great fun!
edit: I meant, comments.
I actually think the controller looks neat. I know there have controllers like this available before but I think the analog stick would work good for me. I hate using the WASD controls. Analog movement coupled with precision aiming seems very inviting. I don’t know about using it on the PS3 though.
It might look awful but Ive been using something similar on my PC for the last 6 months – makes gaming about 10 times easier!
OmegaBob, I have access to about 30 of them. Some of them are far and hard to reach often but I easily use 20 or so. Some games require movement, reloading, using, different quick items, quick actions, zooming function, different postures and such. It can get up to 20 and more pretty quickly.
