EA today shipped The Sims 2: Pets for the Wii to retailers around the globe. Based on the popular Sims 2: Pets expansion for the PC — which has sold nearly 5.5 million units worldwide — The Sims 2: Pets for the Wii allows players to create and control digital characters. As in real life, Sims pets require care and training. And unruly cats and dogs can dig up the yard, claw a new leather sofa and even topple the kitchen trash.
The Sims 2: Pets for the Wii showcases the Create-a-Pet feature, allowing players to customize their pets’ look by changing the body shape, color, fur, nose and more. Additionally, players can choose from a variety of existing breeds and tailor their pets’ personality.
Look for The Sims 2: Pets for the Wii on retails shelves across North America June 12th and in Europe June 28th.
