Casual games developer and publisher eGames today announced a license agreement to create a PC game based on Rubik’s Cube. The agreement with Seven Towns, licensors of Rubik’s Cube, allows for worldwide distribution of the puzzle game at retail. The game’s release will overlap the release of a new electronic version of the Rubik’s Cube, called Rubik’s Revolution, this holiday season. First released in 1980, the original Rubik’s Cube puzzle has sold over 350 million units worldwide to date.
