Picture from Fans getting prickly over Sega

Sega seems to have been infected by some strange marketing ploy. In what they obviously think of as a method to crank up fan excitement they seem to have instead caused widespread annoyance. Oops! Fans have had to endure the company plastering up a gallery of characters that have appeared in previous Sonic games, and then slowly wait as two names are struck off each day. I suppose Sega felt that a long drum roll and much biting of nails would ensue. It turns out that after all this anticipated tension, Sonic the Hedgehog would be the only playable character in Sega’s new Project Needlemouse. Still I suppose we should be grateful for small mercies – at least we won’t have to play Chip or Charmy! Project Needlemouse is due this year (supposedly in HD), but no platforms have been confirmed, yet. Perhaps we will have to endure another list of console names that get struck off daily, too? I need a lie down. My blood pressure just won’t handle that much excitement.
