Picture from The Frag Dolls are recruiting

Ubisoft’s team of professional female gamers, the Frag Dolls, has surpassed one million followers on the Frag Dolls Twitter page, becoming the No. 1 video game related Twitter feed.

Started in 2004 by an open call for female gamers, the Frag Dolls is a team of women that can be found playing a variety of video games in every genre, from RPGs to FPS on all video game consoles and systems both online and offline. In addition to their passion for video games, the Frag Dolls are advocates for promoting the presence of females in the gaming industry.

This year the Frag Dolls are introducing a new initiative called the Cadettes Program, which will provide internship opportunities to interested female gamers. Each semester the Frag Dolls will invite 12 new Cadettes to become involved, including participating at industry events, being active members of the team’s online community, and of course competing in video game tournaments.

What are the requirements for getting recruited?

Michele White | September 19th, 2009 at 10:22 AM Permalink to this Comment

I don’t have the reqs anymore, but I’m sure that the nice folks over at Ubisoft should be able to help you out with that. Here’s the public number for the SF business office +1 (415) 547 4000.

Though I’m pretty sure that Mike Smith knows one or two of them personally. ;)

I’m very interested. What are the requirements? I would love to become a frag doll.
