Picture from Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood trailerFullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood fans rejoice, as a trailer for the upcoming RPG for the PSP, Fullmetal Alchemist: Yakusoku no Hi e has just been released. The title is scheduled for a Japanese release near the end of May, but there’s unfortunately no information on a North American release date as of yet.

Take Ed and Al on their quest to fix what they have done. Walk their path, meet Roy and Risa and fight the homonculus. Be adventurous, take the unbeaten path, don’t be afraid to make unconventional choices and you’ll be able to unlock secret scenarios within the game. Combine attacks with the comrades you meet during your journey, pull them to your side and they just might do something to help you out of tight situations.

Hooray!!! I’ve been catching the new Brotherhood anime on .. well elsewhere and I am really enjoying it. This game looks to be based on that and looks pretty good.

I watched the first episode of FMA:B on Hulu, and it was kinda cool, but I guess I missed out on a lot of it because I never saw the original series.

Brotherhood is based on the Manga so it differs from the original FMA anime since the Manga was still being done when the anime started. After the first couple of episodes you will have some back stories which fill in the characters and give you better picture of everything that is happening.

Oh and I always thought FMA would make a great MMO.

I love the ideas of alchemy and geomancy as opposed to “classical” magic. When I develop my own setting, those are going to be the disciplines in conflict.
