Picture from Gamecock founders return as Devolver Digital

A recent announcement for the upcoming title, Serious Sam: The First Encounter, mentions the involvement of an unknown company called Devolver Digital. Curious about the small unknown that describes itself as a “production and publishing company based in Austin, Texas, specializing in delivering top quality entertainment to gamers worldwide at affordable prices by any and all means available”; the folks over at Big Download went ahead and did some digging. What they learned, is that Devolver Digital is in fact the new company from Mike Wilson and Harry Miller, two of the co-founders of Gamecock. When contacted, Wilson admitted his and Miller’s involvement with the company “along with a few other old friends.”

Mike Wilson will be dropping by the podcast on July 31st, so make sure to tune in and gather the knowledge. In the mean time, stop by the forums and let Turks and Company know what you’d like to learn about Devolver.

It’s got to be a remake, I’m showing that it was released in 2001.
