Picture from Ghostly experience

A recent announcement reveals that the Halloween weekend will see the next Double XP event for Gears of War 2. So some of you might want to forget going out robbing candy from frightened neighbors and stay indoors frightening on-line opponents instead. The event will take place from the morning of October 30 and finish on November 2. Competitive multiplayer will earn you double experience, as will being on the winning team. To make things even more ghoulish, Boomers of all kinds will feature much more in each game and Mauler’s will be pulled – so you won’t be able to sit behind your shields making ghastly faces at the enemy.

So just how do you intend to scare the enemy? Here is my challenge: post pics of you playing during this event in fancy dress (Warning: sitting in a white sheet might seriously impede your game-play and your street cred).

Simon will be launching a thread for your pics soon, but I just wanted to let you know that we’ll be awarding the winner with a gaming tee.
