Full Sail University’s Girls nā Gaming summer camp runs August 2 ā 6 this year, and is a place where participants learn from industry professionals, and explore the process of game development from concept to completion as it would occur in the real world.
The five-day camp offers a compressed production cycle based on the same model used in the game development industry. Participants work in teams to conceptualize, structure, and build their game utilizing the same tools and software that are used by professionals. Campers will be able to test, revise, and ultimately be able to complete their game, presenting it in an open forum at the conclusion of the session. All participants will come away from this experience with an understanding of the game development process, and their very own playable game.
