Picture from Check your inboxes!!!

Unfortunately, we never heard from fourteen of our 22 Christmas in July winners, so we were forced to redraw yesterday. Immediately after the redraw, our Founder and CEO, Angel Munoz, sent out emails to the new fourteen winners requesting a response. So far, we’ve only heard back from five of you, so check those inboxes! We DON’T want to have another redraw, so make sure to respond immediately! You’ve won some free stuff people, and it’s just sitting there waiting for you to claim.

My e-mail account was hijacked after I had signed up (zauggster@gmail.com). I had posted a question on the sign-up news post, but when I went to look for a reply the post had been taken down.

Zauggru – You were not one of the winners.

Man, the fail rate of people is reaching the EPIC status.

I’m sure I’m one of the winners, and I’m sure it was caught in a spam filter somewhere.

Right?

RIGHT?

Seriously, though. You tossed out 14 winners? They’re gonna be P***ED when they get back from their European vacations and see that email waiting for them, only to find out they were too late.

The rules clearly stated Winners will be notified by email only. Disqualification may result from: The failure of a potential winner to respond to notification within five (5) days after email transmission of notification of winning a prize of the Giveaway, or the return of the email transmission as undeliverable.

Matthe Booth | August 15th, 2010 at 10:20 PM Permalink to this Comment

Yeah, there’s no excuse for people not to be claiming prizes. If you can afford a European vacation, your phone probably has email access.

Sure, it’s the rules. That’s not gonna hurt any less. :)

Yeah, it’s their own fault. Still, fourteen seems like a crazy amount of people to enter a contest and then not check their email.

Matthew Booth | August 15th, 2010 at 10:33 PM Permalink to this Comment

They probably don’t even listen to the podcast or follow the sites/podcasts on Facebook.

If I’m not mistaken, this was for AVaul, Stevie FTW and Evil Ed’s podcast (maybe more?), so 14 out of almost 10,000 entries isn’t unbelievable, especially when you consider that they may not have even been fans of any of the podcasts.

Was it really nearly 10,000 entries?

Angus McFeargus | August 16th, 2010 at 10:12 AM Permalink to this Comment

Whoops, NM. I see that on the other post now.

9814 after discarding obvious duplicates the last time I looked.

Any updates as to when the final drawing will take place and when you post who won what?

Angel Munoz | August 22nd, 2010 at 3:04 PM Permalink to this Comment

When we have 22 winners. It’s getting really close.
