Picture from Hindus considering worldwide Sony boycott

Upset over Sony’s Hanuman: Boy Warrior game, and further frustrated by what they refer to as “callous handling” by Sony officials, Hindus are considering a worldwide boycott call of all Sony products.

Hindu statesman, Rajan Zed, said in a statement today, that despite communication between Sony officials and Hindu leaders, the issue had not been resolved yet. Sony officials said that they would look into it and get back with the Hindu leaders, but they have yet to hear back from Sony.

If the Hindu leaders don’t receive a response from Sony by May 21st, then all of the protesting Hindu groups and leaders will “re-evaluate” the protest and announce their future course of action, which might include requesting that major wholesalers and retailers of videogames, in India, not to carry it, or calling for a total boycott of Sony products.
