Picture from inFamous sales top 1.2 million

Despite its sluggish start out of the gate, inFamous has been a shocking success, selling over 1.2 million copies since its release this summer, and that number might just be about to increase significantly. Sony has just announced a price drop to $39.99 for those gamers who haven’t yet made the plunge. The company also revealed that Cole’s ‘Gigawatt Blades’ super power will be available as a free download on PSN starting December 10. Looks like Sucker Punch, creators of the critically acclaimed Sly Cooper series, have another winning franchise on their hands. At this point, a sequel seems like a certainty.

One of the few games I have completed this year. (Platinum) :) Well worth the money even at full price.

Yeah Chip, this game is great! I love the way that Cole moves. The game is so fluid and feels so natural. A must have for any PS3 owner.

I have to touch this one. But I’ll definitely snag it at some point.

But I still have to grab the last two Sly Cooper games. And I loved the first one.
