Paradox Interactive has confirmed a release date of May 21 for Legio, their upcoming turn-based PC strategy game from developer Ice Game Studios. Playable for up two players, the title is a mix between chess and a turn-based war game and takes place in a mythical fantasy world where magicians, warriors and monsters battle for domination. The game will retail for $9.99.

In Legio, both players control an equal army of characters with the goal of eliminating the other player’s army. It also includes a music engine that adjusts the themes to reflect the tone of gameplay.
