Picture from Mac joins PC on Steam

Destructoid reports that as promised, Valve released the Steam client for Mac this afternoon. The program is available for free, and can be downloaded from the Steam website. A small selection of titles is currently available, but according to Valve, a “new group of games highlighting an area of Steam functionality” will be released each and every Wednesday.

Oh, look, we got people with Fisher-Price computers joining us! That’s so adorable! ^_^

Seriously though, much good will Steam do you. Nobody makes games for your toy computers anyway. Well, I suppose you’ll get a couple of Valve games, but that’s about it. Once you beat those you’ll have to go back to your old Mac games. Such as Warcraft III and umm… Photoshop.

The sad thing is that this really does nothing for us Mac owners. Im sure those of us who have any interest in playing Steam games have already Boot Camped our Macs and put XP on the other partition. That’s what I did. I guess though it’s a first step in trying to get developers to start bringing some games over. Whether it works or not is another thing.
