Microsoft had been pretty quiet about Project Natal since E3, but they recently took the opportunity of the Tokyo Game Show to bring it back into the spotlight. Yesterday the company announced that nearly all of the big names (Activision, Capcom, Disney, Ubisoft and Sega to name a few) are working on Natal titles.
“Project Natal gives the industry’s creators and storytellers the freedom to dream of new experiences and to tell stories never before possible,” said Microsoft Senior Vice President Don Mattrick.
There are still no details such as when it will be released and how much it will cost, but many expect it to debut next year. What we do know thus far, is that the system consists of an RGB camera, depth sensor, and multi-array microphone, and it will be sold as an add-on to the Xbox 360 console.
