Picture from Microsoft aims to kinect with game community

After all the speculation and hype, Microsoft has finally revealed the name of its Xbox motion sensor. The camera-based motion-control device will be called…..wait for it….drum roll….Kinect (pronounced like “connect”). As yet the pricing of the device is unknown. Also unconfirmed are rumors that the add-on will be bundled with a new slimline model of the Xbox 360, which was outed yesterday. At the Kinect naming event, Microsoft also announced that Disney would be an official partner on the project. They also showed a brief snippet of a Star Wars game that will use the motion-sensing system. So do we all feel fulfilled and awed by this announcement or just relieved and slightly uninformed?
