Picture from Mindblowing scientific breakthrough!

West Virginia University held a study to determine if continuous play of Dance Dance Revolution could help combat childhood obesity. The study took 35 overweight children ages 7 to 12 and asked them to gradually increase the amount they each played the game. Children who used the game as their sole source of exercise gained an average of two pounds, while children who did not play it at all gained an average of five pounds.

This is truly a medical breakthrough. Kids who got exercise gained less weight. It’s amazing that the myth of exercising has finally been proven scientifically. I don’t know if the Nobel prize has been given out yet this year, but I can certainly think of a very deserving group of researchers in West Virginia.
