Namco Bandai Games America today announced the development of Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection Online, an online update to the downloadable PS3 fighting game, Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection, via the PLAYSTATION Store. The new online features will include ranked matches, custom battles and online tournaments.

Updates to Tekken 5 Online will include Opti Match, Quick Match, Custom Match and Friend Match. Players will also be able to study their opponents by viewing battles in the lobby and talk via voice chat. The online update also includes two new single player modes: Practice and Survival.

The online update will be available later this year for about ten dollars. More at www.namcobandaigames.com.
