CONFLICT: Denied Ops for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC is a new paramilitary first-person shooter from publisher Eidos Interactive and developer Pivotal Games. In the game, you’re cast as two denied operatives tasked with eliminating threats by any means necessary. Centered on accessible gameplay with single button teammate commands, CONFLICT: Denied Ops allows you to focus on the combat, not complex control schemes. In the single-player mode, you can switch between teammates with the press of a button to lay down cover fire or destroy everything in your path. Featuring Pivotal’s Puncture Tech engine, CONFLICT: Denied Ops features destructible environments, allowing you to assault the enemy from any direction by shooting through walls to create sniper cover, blasting though barricades to take the enemy by surprise or using one of the many exploding objects to blow up everything. Look for the game in stores and online in Q1 2008.
