Picture from Get your Nickelback next TuesdayHarmonix today announced that on November 22, a five pack of hits from the platinum selling Canadian rock group Nickelback will hit the Rock Band 3 Music Store. The Nickelback Then and Now pack features some of the band’s biggest hits, and lands just in time for their newest album, Here and Now, which hits stores November 21.

How You Remind Me, from 2001’s Silver Side Up, leads the pack. It’s followed by Someday, the lead single off 2003′s The Long Road, and Animals from 2005’s All the Right Reasons. If Today Was Your Last Day from 2008’s Dark Horse, fleshes out the catalog of classics with This Means War. The pack will be available for $8.49.

I object to the price of the pack. First, Nickelback should pay consumers to listen to their music under any circumstances, gaming or otherwise. Second, even if you dispute my first point, you cannot dispute that you are at least being double charged for one song, specifically How You Remind Me/Someday.

In short, Vote Quimby.
