Picture from Original Xbox Live support ends soon

Microsoft has just announced that on April 15 Xbox Live will no longer support the original Xbox. This will also include any of its games that are playable on the Xbox 360, including Halo 2. Why? According to Microsoft, support of the original Xbox has hindered their ability to do certain things with Live such as increasing the Friends List cap.

Current Xbox Live members who play only on the original Xbox will be eligible for a prorated refund, but according to a letter sent to all Live users today, there might be more than a refund available. Such users are encouraged to check their messages and email in the coming weeks for “more details and opportunities.”

With all the great shooters available on PC, OBob thought it worth his while to get Halo 2 for the MP? LOL.
