Sonic and friends are racing to the 3DS this November with Sonic Generations. Generations will feature classic Sonic levels, as well as levels created specifically for the 3DS. Sonic Generations, which will be available on the 3DS on November 22, celebrates the hedgehog’s 20th anniversary.

Today, Ubisoft announced that David McCallum and Robert Wagner, from the television drama series NCIS, will be reprising their roles as voice actors in the NCIS video game. This is the first video game based on the series, and it will be available November 1 for Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC.
In the video, McCallum and Wagner discuss their involvement behind the scenes and their transformation from screen to game.

This newest trailer for Assassin’s Creed Revelations showcases the merciless fighting prowess of master assassins Ezio Auditore and Altair, as they join the ancient war between Assassins and Templars.
In Revelations, Ezio walks in the footsteps of the legendary Altair on a journey of discovery and revelation. It is a perilous path, one that will take Ezio to Constantinople, the heart of the Ottoman Empire, where a growing army of Templars threatens to destabilize the region.

Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham City is quickly becoming one of the highest rated games of all time. According to Metacritic, Arkham City is the third-highest PS3 game, following GTA IV and Uncharted 2. The Xbox 360 version of the game is currently ranked fifth on the Metacritic list.

DBZ: Ultimate Tenkaichi gets a few new moves |

Namco Bandai’s latest Dragon Ball Z-based fighter, Ultimate Tenkaichi, is promising to be a little bit different than its many predecessors. The game, which will be available for the PS3 and the Xbox 360 on October 25, will feature a significant change to its battle system. The new Range System changes the available attacks based on how much distance is between the two fighters. “Melee Range” will allow different attacks and combos than “Shooting Range.” Check out the gallery for more screenshots.

With the release date right around the corner, more and more details about Skyrim are becoming available. Pete Hines, the Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda, has taken to his Twitter account to answer a few questions gamers may still have about the upcoming RPG. In response to a Tweet about control mapping, Hines replied, “All the buttons can be remapped.” For more Skyrim Q&A, check out Hines’ other Tweets.

Electronic Arts announced today that an all-new HD version of NFL Blitz will arrive in January. The title will be available via digital download at the Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 points and the PlayStation Network for $14.99. It features the arcade-style gameplay of the original, and then mixes in online game modes with high-definition graphics. The recharged NFL Blitz offers fans the opportunity to battle rivals 7-on-7, fight their way through the Blitz Gauntlet, or take over the online leaderboards in Blitz Battles.

Independent video game developer Bent Spoon Games will release its commercial debut, Girl with a Heart of, on November 17. An interactive narrative that explores the concepts of human rationality and recursive self-improvement, it will be playable on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android devices.
Set in Underfoot, a subterranean city inhabited by the Dark race, Girl with a Heart of is the story of Raven, an eleven-year-old girl separated from her parents during a vicious attack by the Light’s army. As her city’s last defenses slowly crumble and her sense of normalcy is stripped away, Raven learns that she plays a critical role in this global conflict due to her unusual, artificial heart. Now she must learn to harness her newly acquired power and make a series of choices that will have consequences beyond her little town.

After a week long delay, Silverlode Interactive announced the official launch of the beta for the real-time strategy game Warspire. The beta will allow players to explore two of the game’s six factions: Light and Undead. Silverlode stated that the open beta focuses on PvP with 1v1 and 2v2 matches, plus a tutorial.
“Warspire is the most advanced RTS running on the Unity 3D engine to date. Unlike other browser-based games, Warspire features a full 3D environment and real-time control. Buildings and units are built and deployed in real time and controlled with a fully-featured graphical user interface comparable to those seen in the most popular contemporary RTS games,” boasts the Silverlode Interactive press release. “Those who contribute to the Beta phase will receive two free heroes in their starting army, as well as five dollars in free credits.” Visit the official Warspire website for more information.
