This latest trailer shows the climactic moments following the E3 2011 trailer for Assassin’s Creed Revelations. And for those not paying attention, the game arrives November 15.
Initially launched in 2007, the first three Assassin’s Creed games have sold more than 30 million units worldwide, and have continued to evolve (in this writer’s humble opinion), into some of the best storytelling through gaming experiences in the industry.

League of Legends: Dominion officially released |

Riot Games, the company behind League of Legends, just launched League of Legends: Dominion, a brand-new capture-and-hold game mode for the multiplayer online battle arena title. Now available to play in North America and Europe, Dominion claims to be an evolutionary upgrade of the MOBA genre, with faster action and tactical gameplay played on an all-new map, the Crystal Scar.
In Dominion, Summoners battle it out for control of five strategic targets, capturing points from the opposing team and defending them against enemy intrusion. This all takes place within the confines of the Crystal Scar, a highly contested, war-torn mining village featuring new art crafted specifically for the new map.
Dominion is free-to-play now for both new and veteran summoners.

GameMill Entertainment has announced plans to release Moxie Girlz for the Nintendo DS. The title is intended to be a fun-filled imagination game based on the Moxie Girlz brand of fashion dolls. With positive messages like “never give up on your dreams” and “be true to yourself,” it aims to bring not only entertainment, but inspiration to young girls.
Moxie Girlz is set to hit store shelves this holiday season.

Ignited Games is bringing the 2D side-scrolling, multi-player, RPG, WindSlayer 2 to online gamers across North America. Though still gearing up for release, players can now sign-up for their chance to participate in the closed beta test.
WindSlayer 2 takes players on a journey through the world of Beuritania. Featuring colorfully rendered, 3D characters converted to a 2D gameplay experience, the game aims to deliver a dynamic visual presentation. Players must battle their way through Beuritania dealing powerful attack combos to vanquish their foes.

UTV Ignition Games today released this first trailer for Mercury Hg, which launches September 27 ($4.99) on the PlayStation Network and September 28 at the Xbox Live Arcade (400 MS Points).
In the trailer, potential players can see Mercury Hg in motion. Watch as the star of the game, the Mercury blob, makes its way through a series of moving levels based on the Periodic Table of the Elements.

Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm Studios has released a huge patch for the fighting game that offers up several fixes. Each character in the game, including DLC characters, is getting balanced and several tweaks have been made to the game itself. The patch is currently live on the Xbox 360 version of the game and is coming soon for PS3 users.

The PC version of Warhammer 40K: Space Marine got its first patch today from THQ. The patch was made to tackle a few of the issues that have come up since the game’s release. The new patch fixes the game’s “butterfly” exploit, adds “mute all” functionality, updates matchmaking parameters, and fixes a crash issue that had been reported.

The first Crysis game is headed to Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. The download will feature the full single-player campaign, console-optimized controls, and full stereoscopic 3D support. Crysis will be available for download on October 4, and depending on your platform of choice, will cost either $19.99 or 1600 Microsoft Points.

EA has announced the official release date and pricing plan for upcoming MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic. The game will launch on December 20 of this year and will offer three separate subscription plans. A one month subscription will cost $14.99/month. A three month sub will cost $13.99/month, charged as a single payment of $41.97. Six month subscriptions will run $12.99/month, and will be charged as a single $77.94 payment.

Exit Games announced today that its Photon game engine will be used in multiple upcoming Codemasters games. Codemasters plans on using the engine to make new multiplayer online games, including upcoming title F1 Online. Both Exit Games and Codemasters are excited about the possibilities of this new multi-title deal.

Cryptic Studios losing its executive producer |

The executive producer of Cryptic Studios’ MMO Star Trek Online is leaving the company at the end of the month. Dan Stahl, who has been working with the studio three years, has announced he will be leaving the Cryptic to pursue new challenges. He states that no one is to blame for his exit and he is thankful for the opportunity to work with the Star Trek Online team.

Misfortune, Loadingames’ web based RPG, has opened the doors to its beta. Starting this week, anyone can log in and check the casual RPG out. Misfortune‘s artwork was all hand drawn with a pencil and then scanned and digitally colored. While the bulk of the game will be free-to-play, gamers wanting a deeper experience will be able to purchase additional content. To sign up for the open beta, hit up the official website here.

Core Blaze is an upcoming MMO powered by Unreal Engine 3. When the game launches sometime next year, there will be four weapon styles available: sword and shield, great sword, dual blade, and long bow. Combat in Core Blaze is fast-paced and co-op play is heavily emphasized. Factors like time of day and weather will determine which quests are available in a given area, reducing the chances that a player will be repeating the same thing over and over in the same zone.
