The PlayStation Vita’s elusive release date was thought to be revealed in a press release for Supremacy MMA. In the release, the PS Vita version of the game was going to be released this September, alongside the console versions.

While this initially caused some confusion and excitement for Vita fans, the statement was quickly corrected. The console versions of the game will be released in September, with the Vita version following sometime during “holiday 2011.” PlayStation fans are going to have to wait a little bit longer to get their hands on the device with the dual analog sticks and rear touch panel.
