Picture from Michael Casazza on the podcast (Episode #93)

Michael Casazza, president of Galaxy4Gamers, is this week’s guest on episode #93 of the Avault Podcast. Ever wanted to make money via your 360? Michael explains how Galaxy4Gamers can help you out in that respect. (It’s not betting it’s competitive gaming.) They’ve a relaunch coming soon, so even if you don’t aspire to be a professional gamer, and just want to challenge some friends, it might be worth checking out.

Patrick Watts subs for Chris this week (Billy missed him), and jumped right in to fill the void with “manly” conversation. They wrap up the Blacklight: Tango Down giveaway, which was so successful that there will be MORE to come in the future. Gaming chat in episode #93 extends to a detailed dissection of StarCraft II, and Mass Effect (Billy’s love affair is over), so listen in or be left behind!

“I’d rather play a game half as good as Mass Effect in multiplayer, than a game as good as Mass Effect single player”

Oh huh? What was that? Sorry, I was too busy being stabbed in the back by that comment. Ouch.

Psychologist: “Please sit down, in the brown leather chair. Tell me about this dependency on online gaming. Uh huh, yes I see. Did your father beat you or love your siblings more than you?”

On a serious note though… about the gambling while gaming topic…. to me it’s no different than people who SPEND money to play WoW online. Whether you are gambling with it or it’s a pay-to-play deal, you’re still paying greenbacks to play a game. However with gambling the better you are the more you can actually make in return, versus WoW, where the better you are, the less desirable to society you are.

I think you are right about me homeboy. I grew up with older brother and we ALWAYS played games together. I really can’t remember a time in my life where I played games solo, it’s tough to be motivated sometimes.

Online gaming does give that sense of comraderie and interaction that’s just not there with single-player Bots.

The perfect example is Dead Rising. Absolutely stoooopid A.I.

Game: “Aaron has just been killed.”
Me: “Good, I need his gun.”

the ultimate for me is co-op multiplayer with a few good friends.
I’m tired of anonymous griefers with wannabe hacker names.

The best part about this is that if you are good, you can win cash. It’s like when I was a kid playing little league. Always want to be a pro ballplayer. Now, I can sit on my a$$ and be a pro gamer.

Show me the money!

And then women will be loose and plentiful as we sit on our gamer thrones of glory, sipping on ‘yak and dining on the choicest of meats!

That was nice MB, you should write poetry :) .

I’m all about online gaming also, and if this site says I can make money too. I think I need to check it out.
