Rumor has it that the company behind Plants vs. Zombies and Bejeweled, is in the process of being acquired for over $1 billion. According to Tech Crunch, however, it’s not a question of if or how much, but by whom. They believe that while Zynga may seem like the obvious choice, EA is who folks should really be looking at. If the price it too be believed, it would be a very large acquisition for EA, and their first such deal on a gaming startup. Another possibility is that the acquisition is coming from somewhere in Asia.
