Picture from Psychonauts rights revert to Double Fine

Double Fine’s publishing arrangement with Majesco for Psychonauts has apparently expired. Programmer Anna Kipnis “unofficially” revealed the news yesterday via Twitter. Double Fine has owned the IP since its original release in 2005 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and PC. It has since been released via both Steam and the Xbox Live Marketplace, which is where curious gamers can find it today.

Anyone know if this will affect those who purchased the game over XBLA? Will they be yoinking the license?

I recently hooked up my 360 and had to redownload some old games that are no longer for sale on Live and I could still get them. My bet would be you should be able too. My question is will this affect the HD PS3 version that is supposed to be coming?
