Picture from Reconnaissance update for Modern Warfare 2

Mind eating away with sheer excitement in anticipation of the new installment of Modern Warfare? This heads up might well tip your sanity over the edge. Robert Bowling the Creative Strategist for Infinity Ward recently fielded questions from fans and the community of Modern Warfare 2. He revealed among other things that:

  • Max level in MW2 is level 70 this time. We have a lot more weapons, perks, attachments, call sign items, and equipment to unlock this time, needed more levels!
  • Quite a few maps have varying degrees of visibility due to weather effects. Also we understand there WILL be SNOW MAPS in MW2 multiplayer.
  • It takes two rockets to take down an AC-130 in MP. Meaning you can’t do it alone but can do it as a team.
  • Air Drops will be random. They could be an ammo resupply or an awesome killstreak reward. It’s luck of the draw.

Modern Warfare 2 will be available for consoles and PC on November 10 – keep taking the pills until then.
