Picture from Sega plans Bayonetta demo

Sega has announced that a demo for Bayonetta will be released on the Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network on December 3. The game is then set for release in the US on January 5 and in Europe on January 8 for both the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Bayonetta is a cinematic, stylized action game whose protagonist, is a graceful, gun-wielding witch who awakens after being entombed in a coffin at the bottom of a lake for 500 years. As players embark, they will begin to unfold the mystery behind her past and her purpose, such as why she fights against angels and other countless fantastic enemies. In combat, Bayonetta uses weapons, magic, acrobatics and her larger-than-life hair in an attempt to redefine the look and feel of the action genre.
