Picture from Skyrim has remappable controls

With the release date right around the corner, more and more details about Skyrim are becoming available. Pete Hines, the Vice President of PR and Marketing at Bethesda, has taken to his Twitter account to answer a few questions gamers may still have about the upcoming RPG. In response to a Tweet about control mapping, Hines replied, “All the buttons can be remapped.” For more Skyrim Q&A, check out Hines’ other Tweets.

Wow.. for that to be a relevant announcement for something that has been an expectation for bethesda games for over 10 years.. .. yeh not looking good.. but then i already expected this to be a gamebryo style game in design.. Even if the engine is different its already common knowledge it will be severely limited as its designed for consoles first, and ported to pc second.

So was Oblivion though, and that hardly suffered from a technical or control standpoint. Design choices, yes, but nothing that was related to the consoles.
